In his role as a financial planner, Chris leads client relationships and facilitates ongoing review meetings, ensuring each strategy remains aligned as circumstances evolve. As a Partner, he contributes to the firm’s long-term strategic direction and serves as a key member of the investment committee, where his analytical perspective and business intuition help guide portfolio decision-making.

Chris joined the firm in 2004 and became a Partner in 2011. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, he is committed to delivering comprehensive, fiduciary advice with a long-term focus. He has also been recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager Award recipient for eight consecutive years.

Chris met his wife, Michelle, while they were student-athletes at The Ohio State University—Michelle as captain of the water ski team and Chris as captain of the ice hockey team. Michelle recently concluded a distinguished 20-year career with Abercrombie & Fitch. Today, they enjoy time on the golf course, water and snow skiing, and supporting their three children—Ataleigh, Alese, and Anders—who are active in hockey, lacrosse, and soccer. The Olsgard family resides in Columbus, Ohio.

Chris is also actively involved in the community, serving as a coach for both CCYHA and the Ohio Blue Jackets AAA hockey programs—reflecting his commitment to investing in others both professionally and personally.
