The Waller Financial Planning Process

The Waller Financial Planning Process combines the development of a comprehensive financial plan with a conservative, long-term investment management strategy. Beginning with the end goals of the client in mind, this process requires each client to look intensively at their financial history and present situation to align properly with their personal and professional aspirations.

The Waller Financial Planning Process is conducted in two phases: financial plan development and long-term investment management. Waller Financial provides each client with a cross-functional team with the necessary expertise to provide guidance through both phases.

Financial Plan Development

The financial plan development phase begins by gathering a wealth of data about a new client. A financial planner guides the client through an exploration of his or her personal and professional goals and the life events that have led the client to the present. The planner also establishes strong working relationships with the client’s professional advisors, such as lawyers and Certified Public Accountants, to gain a full understanding of the client’s financial situation.

Using the collected data, the planning team analyzes all aspects of the client’s financial needs, including: investment management, insurance, taxes, retirement, college planning, and philanthropic interests. The team then constructs a timeline of benchmarks based on the financial goals outlined by the client. A complete financial plan is developed around this timeline and is presented to the client as the guide for future financial decisions.

Investment Management

Waller Financial recognizes that even the best-laid plans can fail without proper execution. Upon the completion of the plan development stage, the client and his or her planning team employ a long-term investment management process that is based upon continuous monitoring and measurement principals. A client can expect to receive periodic updates in the form of cash flow statements and portfolio overviews, as well as meeting with their planner at least two times per year to review the progress to date and to make necessary adjustments over the course of the plan. Ultimately, close measurement and monitoring allow each client to preserve and accumulate the wealth necessary to address their goals.

The Waller Financial Planning Process provides clients with the confidence of knowing that financial decisions have been carefully considered at each stage of their lives. From planning for college to retirement and estate management, the Waller Financial process is designed to help match each client’s lifestyle and legacy.
